The Chicago Skyís first round playoff schedule and opponent has been announced after the WNBA regular season was completed Sunday, September 14th. The Sky, who finished first in the Eastern Conference, will face the fourth seed Indiana Fever in the first round of the 2013 WNBA Playoffs.

The first game of the Eastern Conference Semifinals will be held at 6 p.m. CT on Friday, September 20 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill. The game will air on NBATV. The Sky will head to Indianapolis for the second game of the series on Sunday, September 22 at 2 p.m. CT. Game two will air on ESPN2. The date and time of the final game in the series, if needed, is to be determined.

The Chicago Sky had their best record in franchise history, finishing 24-10, while the defending WNBA Champions, Indiana Fever, completed the season with a 16-18 record. The Sky and Fever met four times during the regular season. Chicago took the first game 71-61 but fell to the conference rivals in their next three matchups.

The Indiana Fever moved into fourth place in the Eastern Conference after falling to the Connecticut Sun 82-80 on Sunday, September 15. The Washington Mystics finished the season in third place after defeating the New York Liberty in their final game of the regular season.

Fans and media are encouraged to join the Sky coaching staff and players at Copper House on Monday, September 16 for the Skyís Playoff Rally. The Sky will be available for interviews during the meet and greet event emceed by ESPNís Sarah Spain. Complimentary water, soda and appetizers, along with a cash bar will be provided.
