Regular Season Round 8: VICI-Aistes – Galatasaray
66-84

Galatasaray snapped a two-game losing streak with a complete win over VICI Aistes in Kaunas on Wednesday night. Following last week’s home walloping by Ros Casares in the Euroleague and then a loss at the hands of Fnerbahce in Turkish league, Galatasaray was hungry for a win at VICI Aistes.

The 84-66 victory improved Galatasaray to 7-1 in Euroleague Group A and moved VICI Aistes to 1-7. Galatasaray’s key to success was their aggressive defense that limited the hosts to only 13 points in the opening quarter. Though in the final quarter VICI-Aistes outscored Galatasaray, however, it was too little too late as Galatasaray cruised till the end of the game. Leading Galatasaray’s potent offensive attack was Chicago Sky’s Epiphanny Prince. Just as she did all WNBA season, Prince sparked the offense with 16 points and three assists.
