Regular Season Round 18: Hapoel T-A – Elitzur Ramla
69-80 (15-17, 21-15, 13-22, 20-26)

Elitzur Ramla defeated Hapoel Tel-Aviv 80-69. The 11-point margin doesn’t accurately describe how close this game actually was. 11th place Hapoel held a four-point halftime lead but a late charge gave Elitzur Ramla the win. Elitzur Ramla handed out 22 assists on 31 field goals. Amber Harris led Elitzur Ramla with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Four Elitzur Ramla players scored in double figures, among them was the Le’Coe Willingham who scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds. The win gives Elitzur Ramla a three game winning streak and they’ll look to continue their winning ways against B.C. Habikaa.

Regular Season Round 19: Kayseri – Fenerbahce
88-80 (25-22, 19-16, 24-16, 20-26)

Kayseri knocked off first place Fenerbahce at home, 88-80. The score indicates a closer game than what actually played out. Kayseri led by 14 after three quarters and a run in the fourth quarter by Fenerbahce closed the gap at the end. The win keeps Kayseri in third place and they will take on Optimum TED next week.

Regular Season Round 18: Tarsus Bld - Kayseri
67-63 (13-20, 17-14, 18-10, 19-19) 

Third place Kayseri (11-6) was upset by 10th place Tarsus Bld (7-11), 67-63. Kayseri had a four point lead at halftime but they were outscored in the second half 37-29. Tarsus Bld went to the free throw line 13 times more than Kayseri, which played a role in the upset. Nakia Sanford who had a double double with 16 points and 12 rebounds led Kayseri and LaToya Sanders had 10 points and seven rebounds in the loss. Kayseri will look to pull off an upset of its own as they host first place Fenerbahce in their next game.

Regular Season Round 17: Elitzur Ramla – Maccabi Ramat Hen
67-63 (13-20, 17-14, 18-10, 19-19) 

In a matchup between third and fourth placed teams, it was third place Elitzur Ramla winning easily over Maccabi Ramat Hen, 74-53. Elitzur Ramla enjoyed a 53-29 rebounding advantage and controlled the game from the opening tip. Forward Amber Harris had 22 points and Tanisha Wright pitched in with 13 points, nine rebounds, and four assists for Elitzur Ramla. The Sky’s Le’Coe Willingham recorded eight points and 14 rebounds in the victory. Elitzur Ramla remained in second place after the victory and the defending champions will play Hapoel Tel-Aviv in its next game.

Regular Season Round 13: Galatasaray - Kayseri
83-54 (24-10, 16-16, 27-18, 16-10)

Sylvia Fowles got her first chance to see her new Sky teammate and forward Le’Coe Willingham in Istanbul Sunday as Galatasaray (11-2) took on Kayseri (9-4). Fowles’ team had an impressive 83-54 win over Kayseri, but Willingham had a great game. Galatasaray led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Kayseri's 28. They outrebounded Kayseri 45-25 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Spanish forward Alba Torrens stepped up and scored 17 points, five rebounds and five assists for the winners and Fowles chipped in 14 points and six rebounds. At the losing side new Chicago Sky forward Le’Coe Willingham responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and the other Bahar Ozturk scored six points and five assists. Galatasaray maintains second place with a 11-2 record behind leader Fenerbahce. Kayseri is still in third after the loss. Galatasaray will face Besiktas (#11) in Istanbul in the next round and Kayseri will play at home against Ceyhan Bld (#4) in Adana.

Regular Season Round 12: Kayseri - Mersin
68-53 (21-20, 12-16, 18-7, 17-10)

Mersin (5-7) was defeated on the road by third ranked Kayseri (9-3) 68-53 on Thursday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the half before their 35-17 charge in the second half. Kayseri dominated on the defensive end, holding Mersin to just 7 points in third quarter. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kayseri made nine blocks. LaToya Sanders scored 21 points, five rebounds and six blocks. Le’Coe Willingham made her overseas début for the first time this season scoring 10 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Four Kayseri players scored in double figures. The best for Mersin was forward Erlana Larkins who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Christi Thomas added nine points and nine rebounds respectively. Kayseri has a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with a 9-3 record having just two points less than leader Fenerbahce. Loser Mersin keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Botas and Optimum TED. Kayseri will meet league's second-placed Galatasaray in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Mersin will play against Besiktas (#10) in Istanbul and hope to secure a win.
