Lifeway Kefir Rules
1. HOW TO ENTER. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN A PRIZE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The “Be a Chicago Sky Player for a Day Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes”) starts Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 12:01 a.m. and ends Sunday, June 20, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. All times are Central Daylight Time.
Enter the Sweepstakes by submitting your email address in the official space available on www.chicagosky.net by clicking the Sweepstakes link on the home page or submit your entry in mail. Those who do not provide the required field will be disqualified. All entries shall become the property of Chicago Sky. Entries generated by a script, bot, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Prize winners will be required to travel to Rosemont, Illinois, at their own expense, to use the Prize throughout the 2010 Chicago Sky regular season, between May 22 and August 20.
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of United States aged 18 years or older, except to employees of the Chicago Sky, and each of their affiliated companies, officers, board members, advertising agencies, promotional partners and relatives of and those living in the same household as such employees. For the purpose of this Sweepstakes, relatives are defined as spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children and grandchildren. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
3. SELECTION OF WINNERS: On or about Monday, June 21, 2010 a random drawing from among all eligible entries received will be conducted by Chicago Sky’s designated judges, whose decisions are final, to determine the one Prize winner. Limit one (1) prize per person, family or household. The winner will be notified that they may have won a prize in this Sweepstakes by telephone (at Sponsor’s sole discretion) or email on or about the same Monday as the winner was selected. Winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the time frame specified by the Chicago Sky or prize may be forfeited. If any prize notification, prize, or Sweepstakes communication is rejected or returned as undeliverable or if a winner cannot be reached after a reasonable attempt (5 business days after winner is selected) has been made by Chicago Sky, such winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Each winner’s name may be published on the Chicago Sky website, Facebook Fan Page or Twitter account.
4. PRIZES/ODDS: There will be One (1) First Prize awarded.
Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. All prizes legitimately claimed will be awarded.
Approximate retail value of the prizes: $500. Ground transportation to and from the Chicago Sky games are not included in the prize and it is the winner’s responsibility. All gratuities, travel expenses, taxes, ground transportation and other expenses not specified in these official rules are the sole responsibility of each winner.
PRIZE CLAIM AND WINNER REQUIREMENTS: The Chicago Sky will contact the prize winner. The winner may be required to sign and return a claim form, an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release or that winner’s prize may be forfeited. In the event of non-compliance with these requirements, the non-complying winner and/or guest may be refused the prize and their prize may be forfeited. All prize claims, affidavits of eligibility and liability/publicity releases are subject to verification by Chicago Sky. A winner’s and guest’s name, age and/or picture may be published on www.chicagosky.net and/or on its affiliated web sites.
Each prize, if legitimately claimed, will be awarded. Each prize is subject to all federal, state and local taxes, which are the sole responsibility of the winner of such prize. No prize substitutions or cash redemptions will be made, except at Chicago Sky’s sole discretion. Chicago Sky reserves the right to substitute any stated prize with another prize of equal or greater value should this stated prize become unavailable. By entering this Sweepstakes and accepting a prize, each winner agrees to maintain his/her behavior in accordance with all applicable laws and generally accepted social practices in connection with participation in any Sweepstakes activity, including attendance at the Chicago Sky games. Each winner understands and agrees that the Chicago Sky reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify and remove any prize winner or his/her guest from any activity at any time if such prize winner or his/her guest’s behavior at any point is disruptive or may or does cause damage to person, property or the reputation of Sponsor.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES TO RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY CHICAGO SKY, AND THEIR PARENTS, DIVISIONS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING, PROMOTION, AND PUBLIC RELATIONS AGENCIES, AND THE RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENCIES OF EACH FOR ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR INJURIES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND SUSTAINED IN CONNECTION WITH THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, MISUSE OR AWARDING OF A PRIZE OR WHILE PREPARING FOR, PARTICIPATING IN AND/OR TRAVELING TO OR FROM ANY PRIZE- OR SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED ACTIVITY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY INJURY, DAMAGE, DEATH, LOSS, OR ACCIDENT TO PERSON OR PROPERTY. EACH WINNER AGREES THAT THE PRIZE IS PROVIDED AS-IS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, WHETHER NOW KNOWN OR HEREINAFTER ENACTED, RELATIVE TO THE USE OR ENJOYMENT OF THE PRIZE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. EACH WINNER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE/SHE IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACTIONS, CLAIMS OR LIABILITIES OF HIS/HER GUEST RELATED TO ANY SWEEPSTAKES ACTIVITY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY ACTIONS, CLAIMS OR LIABILITIES RELATED TO THE GUEST’S ATTENDANCE AT THE TEAM PRACTICE OR CHICAGO SKY GAME.
6. ADDITIONAL DISCLAIMERS: Chicago Sky is not responsible and/or liable for any of the following, whether caused by Chicago Sky, the entrant, or by human error: technical or mechanical malfunctions; or errors, typos or misprints in these official rules, in any Sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials.
7. GENERAL RULES: By entering the Sweepstakes, (except where prohibited by law) entrants consent to the use of their names, pictures, likenesses, voices, biographical data, and/or any information contained in their entry in advertising, promotion and marketing materials throughout the world, including on the internet, by the Chicago Sky, its promotional partners, and third party marketing entities, without additional compensation, notice, review, or approval. Chicago Sky’s decisions will be final in all matters, including interpretation of these official rules and awarding of the prizes. DO NOT call Chicago Sky, as this Sweepstakes will not be discussed by phone, except at Chicago Sky’s sole discretion. All participants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of Chicago Sky. Failure to comply with these official rules may result in disqualification from this Sweepstakes. Chicago Sky reserves the right to permanently disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these official rules. Participants further agree to not knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Sweepstakes and/or prevent others from using the Sweepstakes. Chicago Sky reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void entries of any entrants who Chicago Sky believes have attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned for any reason, Chicago Sky reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and award the prizes from among entries received prior to or after the date of the cancellation, modification or suspension. Any person who supplies false information, obtains entries by fraudulent means, or is otherwise determined to be in violation of these official rules in an attempt to obtain any prize will forfeit any prize won and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
8. WINNER’S LIST. For a list of winners, send a legal-size, self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Be a Chicago Sky Player for a Day Sweepstakes, 20W Kinzie, Suite 1010, Chicago IL 60654. Requests must be received no later than three (3) months following the close of the Sweepstakes.
• The First Prize consists of two (2) Chicago Sky tickets and a parking pass valid for a Chicago Sky home game at Allstate Arena during the 2010 season (approximate retail value (“ARV”): $500) as well as the opportunity to sit attend pre-game shoot around with the team, sit on the player bench and attend the post-game press conference. The prize also includes free Lifeway products.
