Chicago Sky Hosts Goddess Day For At Risk Teen Girls

CHICAGO – Step Up Women’s Network presented Goddess Day, hosted by Chicago Sky WNBA players Amanda Lassiter and Brooke Wyckoff, benefiting local at-risk teen girls at ULTA, on Sunday, October 15th. The Goddess Day event offered a unique and personal opportunity for the Chicago Sky, Step Up Women’s Network and ULTA to give back to 25 local teen girls through a special day of empowerment, heath and wellness.

Supporters of the Step Up Women’s Network, Chicago Sky players Lassiter and Wyckoff worked with Step Up and ULTA to connect with teen girls in the community through hands-on workshops offering the tools and skills that empower them to resist gender stereotypes; combat teen pressures; overcome fear of failure; embrace the right to speak up and inspire them to grow into strong, confident women.

Event highlights included dynamic workshops on goal setting, fitness, wellness and skin care. A healthy lunch and fun ULTA goody bags were given to each girl.
