Fowles’ Throws First Pitch

Fowles will be the fourth Sky player in Sky history to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a Major League Baseball game. Past participants have included: Elena Delle Donne (Chicago Cubs), Courtney Vandersloot (Seattle Mariners) and Ruth Riley (White Sox).

The Chicago White Sox would like to offer specially priced tickets to Sky fans to come out and see Fowles throw the ceremonial first pitch against the Kansas City Royals! The Sky returns to action at Allstate Arena on Tuesday, July 22 at Allstate to battle the Indiana Fever for “Go Green” night, The nationally televised game is set to tip- off at 7:00 p.m. CT on ESPN2. The Sky is partnering with textile recycling company USAgain for this night to encourage fans donate clothing and shoes. All fans who drop off a donation at the July 22 “Go Green” game will receive a free ticket to a future 2014 Sky regular season home game.
