WCIU, The U and The U Too, part of the Weigel Broadcasting Co., will host the regular season programming. WCIU, The U will air the June 2 game against the Tulsa Shock and the July 7 match up against New York. The U Too station will feature the remaining 22 home and away games including the Aug. 23 game against the Liberty. Fans can also use WNBA’s LiveAccess at www.chicagosky.net to follow the Chicago Sky.

Other highlights of the broadcast line up include games versus Los Angeles Sparks stand out and Naperville native Candace Parker (6/29 and 8/13) and the defending WNBA Champion Indiana Fever squad (6/22, 8/6 and 9/6).

WCIU, The U can be seen over the air on WCIU-TV 26.1 or on XFINITY (check cable guide for channel position in your area), XFINITY HD 183, RCN 6, RCN HD 606, WOW 6, WOW HD 207, AT&T U-verse 10, AT&T U-verse HD 1010, DIRECTV HD 26 and Dish Network 26. The U Too can be seen over-the-air on WCIU-DT 26.2 or on cable channels XFINITY 248/360, RCN 35 and WOW 170.

ESPN will televise the May 27 and Sept. 11 contests against Phoenix Mercury’s veteran All-Star Diana Taurasi and first overall draft pick Britney Griner. May 27 marks the first match up between Sky’s 2013 draft pick Elena Delle Donne and Griner. ESPN was also host of the 2013 WNBA Draft which aired live on prime time on April 15.



Brooke Weisbrod and Lisa Byington have joined the Sky’s broadcast team as color commentator and play-by-play announcer respectively. Weisbrod has worked as analyst and sideline reporter for ESPN since 2003. She has also called for the Big Ten Network and CBS. Byington, also from the Big Ten Network, has been a studio host and women’s basketball play-by-play announcer since 2007. The pair will call all WCIU, The U and The U Too telecasts as well as WNBA LiveAccess webcasts.
