Bo Knows...The Final Four (Part 2)

Hey Sky fans, Coach Bo here, and welcome to Bo Knows… Each week or so, I will provide you with some “head coaching” insight about what's going on in the world of sports, and maybe beyond. Who knows, I may talk about my favorite movies or places to eat. You may even come across some insider information about what is going on with the Sky!

This week, I would like to share with you:

Top 10 Best things about being in the Final Four

10) Excitement of Final Four – it’s the thrill of a lifetime.

9) Charter plane and the bus that picks you up on the tarmac. (So this is what it’s like to be a Rock Star.)

8) Police Escort (Again, Rock Star status)

7) Final Four Chair (Notice the chairs on the bench: We were able to buy them! I have one in my house.)

6) Gear from Nike (They really take care of the players. We had to use a full hotel room just to store the stuff.)

5) Calling recruits (After we won regionals, it was great to be able to tell recruits we were going to the Final Four.)

4) Practice the day before the game (We practiced in front of 20,000 fans…a lot of air balls were shot early.)

3) Faces of the players (Seeing the excitement in their faces the whole week… unforgettable.)

2) Dinner the night before the game (I will never forget the calmness we felt as a team and being able to sit as a staff and eat a great meal.)

1) National Anthem (The year I went was the year of 9/11. Seeing two of our players hold the American flag with firefighters and policemen from NYC…I still get goose bumps.)
