Thomas Selected in Dream Expansion Draft
The Atlanta Dream selected 6'3" Sky forward Carla Thomas in the 2008 Expansion Draft held yesterday. Carla was the tenth overall pick in the 2007 WNBA Draft, out of Vanderbilt. She played in 17 games last season, averaging 2.5 points per game in 7.2 average minutes played. She is playing in France in the off-season.
The Dream also selected Erika DeSouza (Connecticut), Katie Feenstra (Detroit), Roneeka Hodges (Houston), Ann Strother (Indiana), LaToya Thomas (Los Angeles), Kristen Mann (Minnesota), Ann Wauters (New York), Jennifer Lacy (Phoenix), Kristin Haynie (Sacramento), Chantelle Anderson (San Antonio), Betty Lennox (Seattle) and Yelena Leuchanka (Washington). The Dream also made three trades after the draft.
