Sky Selects Quianna Chaney
Selected fifth in the second round (19th overall), Chaney is a 5’11’’ shooting guard who was named to the 2008 All-SEC First team and helped LSU to a fourth straight Final Four appearance this year. She ranked second in career three-pointers made at LSU, with 205 – sinking 93 from beyond the arc in her senior season. She averaged 14.4 points, 3.3 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per game in her senior year, shooting 38% from 3-point range. Chaney finished her career as the Lady Tigers’ 15th all-time leading scorer with 1,345 points.
