Stephanie White on the Big Ten Network
Chicago Sky assistant coach and WNBA legend Stephanie White is the Big Ten Network's newest NCAAW analyst and she's calling her first game this week! White, who led Purdue to the 1999 NCAA title as a senior, and was named the National College Player of the Year, will begin her broadcasting career on Wednesday, November 28 at 6 p.m., in the broadcast of the Northwestern vs. Wake Forest game. White played five years in the WNBA, four of them with the Indiana Fever. When she retired in 2004, she ranked third in the league in 3-pointers made with 92 and fourth in scoring with 684 points. White will be joined by former Indiana assistant coach Vera Jones and former Wisconsin coach Mary Murphy. She will primarily do in-studio work from the BTN's headquarters in Chicago.
The Sky's 2008 schedule should be announced in the next two weeks. Get ready to plan all of your exciting summer fun.
