Join the Sky at the LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon

Hey Sky Riders, most of you know that the LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon is two weeks away. The marathon, which is one of the most watched sporting events in Chicago, will be held on Sunday, October 7. LaSalle Bank is a founding sponsor of the Chicago Sky and we love to support our sponsors! LaSalle gave us a cheer station last year and we had so much fun we're doing it again.

The Sky will host a "Cheer Station" on the corner of Halsted and Harrison, right around the corner from our home court at UIC Pavilion. We will have breakfast foods, coffee, juice, giveaways and we will conduct a raffle.

Please join us beginning at 8:30 am to ensure you see the lead runners pass by. Our location is just past the half way point in the race, so all of the participants will appreciate your support at this stage of the marathon.

Don't forget to wear your Sky gear, so you can show your support for the marathon while you wear your favorite team colors! Check out our end of season merchandise sale for something new.

We will have everything you need to cheer on the runners. LaSalle Bank was kind enough to provide us with some cow bells and cheer cards that you will be able to personalize to show your support as each runner passes by. See you soon!
