With a team motto of “You bring the spirit, we’ll bring the game,” the Griffins are showing just that. Their perseverance has led to victories and upsets that have given the team an impressive 16-2 record, their best start in school history.

Although the Griffins are lead by Senior forward Kersten Magrum, who will be playing basketball for the University of Illinois in the fall, this team has demonstrated that it takes a whole team to achieve what they have done this season.

In the classroom, the Griffins have eight out of their twelve varsity members boasting a 3.5 GPA or higher and are also members of the National Honor Society. The Sky would like to recognize and reward the Griffins for their perseverance on the court and in the classroom. Congratulations and keep up the hard work!
