Join the Sky for a Gospel celebration on Saturday July 20 at 7pm when we take on the NY Liberty and enjoy a post-game performance by the internationally renowned Fellowship Chicago. In conjunction with Gospel Night the Sky will host its inaugural Gospel Competition and you can enter for a chance to win up to $1000 in prize money and perform live at the Sky game or as one of the opening acts for Fellowship Chicago in our post-game performance.

Online voting at Chicagosky.net opens Monday June 17 and runs through Friday June 28.

Rules of Entry

  • Choir Entry Fee - $250 (includes a ticket for each choir member)
  • Individual Entry Fee-$100 (includes 10 tickets)
  • The Top 10 finalists will be guaranteed a live performance at the 2013 Chicago Sky Gospel Night on Saturday July 20th at 7pm.
  • The Top 3 finalists overall will be invited to participate as opening acts for the post-game performance featuring Fellowship Chicago
  • The performance by the Top 3 finalists will be judged by a guest panel and 1st ($1000), 2nd ($750) and 3rd ($500) place will be announced at the conclusion of the post-game performance

    2013 Sky Gospel Competition Rules:

  • Choirs must pay $250 entry fee to be included in competition
  • Individuals must pay $100 entry fee to be included in competition
  • Participants will be contacted by Sky for final payment if entry is submitted online
  • Participants can also enter by contacting 866.SKY.WNBA with payment and sending a DVD/CD
  • Participants should submit video or audio file of performance (one song only)
  • Participants can send DVD/CD of performance with appropriate entry fee
  • Participants can submit youtube links of performance
  • Participants can enter multiple times assuming submission of different song and appropriate entry fee is paid per submission
  • Online voting results will account for 50% of the Final vote. Chicago Sky representatives vote will account for the remaining 50% of voting total.

    • In-game performances will be one of the following:

  • Concourse Performance
  • Pre-game “Prime-Time” performance
  • National Anthem
  • Half-Time
