Looking for their third straight win, the Chicago Sky traveled to the nation’s capital to take on the Washington Mystics. The Sky came into the game with a 2-1 record against the Mystics this season, with the home team taking the victory in each contest until tonight. Sky Storm Back

The Sky was looking to get back on track Thursday night as they faced the Seattle Storm for the second and final time this regular season. The Sky came to Seattle hoping to steal one back from the Storm after they fell 69-60 to the Western Conference team back at Allstate Arena on July 2. Sky Fall to Sparks

Coming off of arguably their most impressive win over the weekend against the Minnesota Lynx, the Chicago Sky arrived at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday night looking to continue their success. To this point the Sky has been the only Eastern Conference team to beat the Sparks this season. The Sky defeated L.A. 94-82 on June 29 at home. With this win, it appeared that their goal of sweeping the series would go as planned, but as the final buzzer rang, the Sky found themselves just four points short of the win (76-80). For the first time this season, the Chicago Sky got an up close and personal look at the 2011 WNBA champions Minnesota Lynx. While the Lynx’s offensive arsenal was on full display at the Sky’s home turf at AllState Arena, Chicago stepped up to the challenge and turned in a performance as good as any in the young franchise’s history. Playing their second game in two days, the Sky fell 58-79 to the Indiana Fever on Saturday night. The Sky took home a 71-61 victory in their first meeting with the Fever on June 22. In that meeting, the Fever were down five players, forcing their reserves to step up against the Sky’s top five. Returning to sweet home Chicago, the Sky exacted revenge against the San Antonio Silver Stars in the form of Sunday’s 72-70 win at Allstate Arena. Sylvia Fowles lit up Allstate Arena and the Connecticut Sun, putting up 24 points and 22 rebounds as her Sky edged a top Eastern conference opponent 86-75 in front over 6,500 fans in their home opener. It was the first 20-20 game for Fowles in her WNBA career, and she finished just two rebounds shy of tying the league record for total rebounds in a game.
