    Thorn's 20 not enough for Tarbes

    Erin Thorn scored a team-high 20 points as Tarbes dropped its regular season Euroleauge finale to VICI Aistes 72-71 at Kaunas, Lithuania.

    Thorn made 4-of-5 attempts from behind the 3-point arc and all four free throw attempts. Thorn also brought in a team-high six rebounds and dished out three assists.

    Tarbes wrapped up Euroleague play at 3-7 and in last place in Group C. They will not make the Euroleague postseason and will now resign to French League play.

    Prince Dominates in win over Tarbes, Thorn

    Epiphanny Prince scored a game-high 21 points and Spartak defeated Tarbes 78-61 in Eurleague action at Tarbes, France.

    Erin Thorn chipped in eight points for Tarbes.

    Prince shot 9-of-14 from the field, including 9-of-13 from inside the 3-point arc. Prince also added three rebounds and a pair of assists.

    The win pushes Spartak to 6-3 in Eurleague play and second place in Group C. Tarbes fell to 3-6 and is in last place in the group.

    Tarbes Downed by Halcon Avenida

    Erin Thorn chipped in five points, but it wasn't enough as Halcon Avenida defeated Tarbes, 87-49 Wednesday in Euroleague action at Salamanca, Spain.

    Tarbes is currently 3-5 and currently in a 3-way for 6th and last place in Euroleague Group C headed into the holiday break. Tarbes will resume play on January 13 against Epiphanny Prince, Coach Pokey Chatman and Spartak.

    Tarbes Falls to ZVVZ USK Prague

    Erin Thorn scored five points and Tarbes was defeated by ZVVZ USK Prague 78-58 today in Euroleague play at Prague.

    Thorn made 1-of-4 3-point attempts and sunk her only shot attempt from inside the 3-point arc.

    Thorn, Tarbes Edge Fowles, Galatasaray

    Erin Thorn chipped in nine points and five rebounds as Tarbes edged Galatasaray, 68-57 today in Euroleague action in Tarbes, France.

    Fowles led Galatasaray with 17 points and 11 rebounds. She shot 8-of-18 from the field and made one of her team's 3 free throws.

    Thorn shot 4-of-10 from the field including 3-of-8 from beyond the 3-point arc.

    Tarbes Downs VICI Aistes

    Erin Thorn poured in 15 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists as Tarbes downed VICI Aistes, 63-59 last week in Tarbes, France.

    With a two-point lead and 1:32 left on the clock, Thorn sunk a pair of free throws to extend the Tarbes lead to four. It turned out to be too much for VICI to overcome.

    Thorn, Tarbes Fall to Spartak, Prince

    Another solid performance by Epiphanny Prince helped Spartak defeat Erin Thorn and her French Tarbes, 87-55 in Russia.

    Thorn poured in a team-high 14 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field and grabbed five rebounds.

    Prince chipped in 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field and 4-of-5 from the free throw line.

    Thorn made a 3-point basket to get herself on the board, and get her team within 10 points of Spartak at the 6:26 mark of the second quarter. Prince responded by sinking a jump shot helping Spartak extend its lead once again. After that Spartak maintained its lead until putting the game out of reach headed into halftime.

    Lauren Jackson (Seattle Storm) scored a game-high 24 points for Spartak.

    Coach Pokey Chatman now has her Spartak team at 2-2 in second place behind the undefeated Halcon Avenida, while Tarbes fell to 1-3 in the competitive Group C.

    Tarbes falls to Halcon Avenida

    Erin Thorn scored 13 points and grabbed four rebounds as Tarbes fell to Halcon 77-72 at Tarbes, France. Thorn shot 3-of-4 from 3-point land and made both of her field goal attempts from inside the arc.

    With 1:24 left Thorn sunk her final 3 to bring Tarbes to within three, but they were unable to get any closer.

    Thorn, Tarbes Get By ZVVZ USK Prague

    With Tarbes up one and 15 seconds left on the clock, Erin Thorn sunk a pair of free throws to put her team ahead for good in a 81-77 win after trading leads with ZVVZ over the final four minutes of the game.

    It was Tarbes' first Euroleague victory on the 2010-11 campaign.

    Thorn finished up with nine points and seven assists.

    Tarbes Falls to Galatasaray

    Erin Thorn chipped in nine points for Tarbes as the French side fell to Sylvia Fowles and Galatasaray, 84-68 in its 2010-11 Euroleague opener.

    Thorn shot 2-of-5 from the field and made 1-of-2 tree-point attempts. She also two assists and two rebounds.

    Tarbes is currently 2-0 in French league play and 0-1 in Euroleague. Their next Euroleague game is November 3 against ZVVZ USK.

    Offseason Preview

    Erin Thorn will spend her offseason in Tarbes, France playing for Tarbes Gespe Bigorre.

    Thorn is one of two Sky players in the French league this season, the other being Mistie Bass. Thorn is also the only American on her team.

    Tarbes has played one game so far and they defeated Flammes Carolo 60-57. Thorn scored 19 points and grabbed five rebounds. On the game, she was a perfect 2-2 from 3-point range.

    Thorn and Bass, who plays for Challe, will meet on January 22.
