2010 Euro League All-Star Game

Chicago Sky Forward Candice Dupree has consistently been near the top of the Euro League in several statistical categories all season long.

The same goes for the 2010 Euro League All-Star game in which all-stars from Europe defeated their counterpart from The Rest of the World, 93-89 on Tuesday, March 9 in Gdynia, Poland.

Dupree was one of four players on her team to score in double figures with 11 points. She grabbed a game-high nine rebounds. And only Kosice teammate Angel McCoughtry spent more than Dupree’s 23 minutes on the court. Dupree also recorded two blocked shots to tie for the game-high. Dupree shot 4 of 9 from the field and 1 of 3 from three-point range.

As the lead changed hands repeatedly in the third quarter, Dupree made baskets with 5:50 left and then at 4:47 left to tie the game. Dupree’s team took the lead into the fourth quarter but could not hold on.

At halftime, following the 3-point contest, Dupree and McCoughtry both attempted to dunk for the crowd. Dupree came through with a right handed slam while McCoughtry's attempt ended up deflecting off the back of the rim.
