Members of the Sky take time out of their busy training camp schedule to show off their inaugural uniforms.
New Faces At Training Camp

As the Sky prepares to start regulation play, athletes have been rotating on and off the roster. With the coaching staff evaluating and reevaluating the needs of the team, the potential game day line up is constantly active. The newest additions to the roster include Tera Bjorklund, Julie McBride and Amanda Lassiter.

Tera brings her experience playing with the Charlotte Sting to the Sky, while Amanda, a seasoned player, brings five years of experience with various teams to the organization. Julie on the other hand, is a fresh face to the WNBA.

Meanwhile, league veterans Chelsea Newton, Deanna Jackson, Elaine Powell and Bernadette Ngoyisa are just arriving in Chicago after playing overseas and fulfilling other commitments.

As training camp continues, expect to see more changes to the Sky lineup as the team adapts and learns how to work as a unit. Tuesday, May 9, marks the Sky’s first pre-season game vs. the Los Angeles Sparks and the team’s debut at the UIC Pavilion.
