I love celebrating birthdays! Tonight, a bunch of my mascot friends and I were in attendance at the Allstate Arena for DIBS birthday, the mascot of the DePaul Blue Demons. Good luck trying to figure out what DIBS stands for. I know, but I’m not allowed to tell (it’s a mascot secret). Anyway, there was a Big East men’s basketball showdown between DePaul and UConn. Go Blue Demons! During halftime we had a little game of b-ball to entertain the fans in attendance. I was “lucky” enough that every time I got the ball, I quickly got tackled down to the floor. I guess the other mascots thought we were playing football; after all, Da Bears are in the Super Bowl. But, no harm done, I’m a big boy. I can take a licking and keep on kicking. |
