Well Sky Fans, it has been one great year. Chicago finally got a WNBA team of its own, the WNBA celebrated its 10th season of existence, the Eastern Conference finally won the WNBA All-Star Game, and I enjoyed my first season cheering on my favorite team. Several of my mascot friends and I had the chance to fly with the Red Baron Squadron in their biplanes before the Air and Water Show. Of course I got my own blog, how else would you be reading this? Let’s not forget the fact that I played football against a pee-wee football team at Soldier Field during halftime of a Chicago Bears game (Da Bears!). I’ve met thousands of great people this past year including several politicians: Congressman Bobby Rush, Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., Illinois Governor Ron Blagojevich, and Mayor Richard Daley. What can I say; I’m a man of the people. All in all it’s been an incredibly exciting year, let’s see if 2007 can match it. |
