Today Northwestern University hosted a field trip day for thousands of school children around Chicago to come and check out the University. One of the fun events happening on campus for the kids was the women’s basketball game pitting the Wildcats against the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech. They weren’t the only fans in attendance. Sky forward, Amanda Lassiter, the Sky Drumline, the Sky coaching staff, tons of Sky fans and me were there at Welsh Ryan Arena enjoying the game with the kids. I made sure to bring the Sky experience to the fans with my silly string, t-shirt tosses, great dancing and other antics. We all had a blast (even the kids that I covered in silly string). I can’t wait to go back! |
