These past two days I got a chance to go visit two of Chicago’s most legendary sports landmarks. On Thursday I had a chance to check out Soldier Field, you know the place where the Chicago Bears wreck havoc on their NFL opponents. This amazing stadium is dedicated to the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces. The giant columns reminded me of the Roman Coliseum, which reminded me of the movie Gladiator (that’s a great movie). While I was there I was hoping to buy some tickets to the next Bears home game, but for some reason nobody was there at the ticket stands. Oh well, I’ll just have to watch the game on TV. On Friday, I took a field trip to Wrigley Field, the place where the Chicago Cubs MLB opponents wreck havoc on them (poor Cubbies). I saw Harry Caray’s statue (I think he has a restaurant). I checked on the field and I was happy to see that it was being watered and maintained during the off-season. Just when it was time for me to head back to work, I was surprised by the Cubs mascot, Ronnie Woo Woo. Ronnie had a pretty sweet uniform (almost as nice as mine). He gave me a quick Woo Woo, and then we went our separate ways.
