I kept hearing about the El and all its different colored lines. For awhile I thought the El was a coloring book or something, but then someone told me that it was a train system (a coloring book was a close guess). Now that I know what the El is, I figured I should see what everyone was talking about. I decided to check out the Red line because I heard it was a subway (mmm! Subway). When I got down there I didn’t see any trains and I was shocked. Apparently you have to wait for the train (good thing I’m a patient mascot). So I sat down next to a lovely lady and we waited for the train together and that was fine with me. Once the train arrived I jumped on-board and quickly found myself a seat next to another pretty lady, and sure enough she was a Sky fan. We had a great time discussing the Sky and our upcoming season. I can’t wait to see her at a game this summer. I was so busy having fun with my fellow passengers that I almost missed my stop. A voice said that the doors were closing. I jumped out of my seat, ran across the car and was out the door just in time! I made my way up to the surface but I had a little trouble getting through the exit (my muscles are huge!). Riding the Red line was awesome. I can’t wait to ride all the other lines to see where they will take me.
