Hello, Sky fans! I’ve been so busy lately visiting schools, tournaments and clinics that I haven’t had a chance to sit down and tell you all what I have been up to, so here we go!
On February 2, I went to the Chicago Storm’s mascot day where I ran into a bunch of my friends, many of whom I have not seen in a long time. We played soccer at halftime and, naturally (drum roll please), I was named the MVP. I can’t tell you how many goals I scored, but you all would have been very proud.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, I thought I would write a short little poem for you fans to tell you how much I appreciate and miss you (I can’t wait for the season to start). Here it goes:
| Roses are red. |
| Violets are blue |
| I love the Sky |
| And I know you do, too. |
| I’m counting the days |
| To our first game |
| The championship title |
| Is calling our name |
| We’ll all raise our voice |
| When the season begins |
| Cause we know this year |
| We’ll have lots of wins.
| | So print out the schedule |
| Display it proud |
| Come to the home games |
| And prepare to get loud! |
I hope you enjoyed my poem! I’m a natural, don’t you think? |

Don’t forget to check out my calendar to see where I may pop up next. One very important day to keep in mind is March 2. I will be jumping into Lake Michigan to help support the Special Olympics for the annual Polar Plunge. Brrrrr! I am only $100 dollars short of reaching my goal and I need your help. If you would like donate to this terrific cause, please click here. So long for now and as always…GO SKY!!! |
