Stacey Dales didnít waste any time getting involved in the Chicago basketball scene. After having just arrived and barely unpacked, Stacey and some of the Sky marketing staff went to the Northwestern-Ohio State womenís game the other night at Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston.

Stacey met with the Wildcats before the game and shared with them the importance of celebrating the small victories, such as the good passes and hustle plays, but most importantly, trusting your teammates and coaches and communicating with each other on and off the court. She then spoke to the fans at halftime and told them how excited she was about coming to Chicago and resuming her pro basketball career and urged everyone to come out to a Sky game this summer.

Sky fans have plenty to look forward to if her reception in Evanston is any indication. Stacey loves making public appearances and being able to inspire young girls and women. Stacey signed autographs and talked with younger fans, all of whom loved meeting a professional basketball player, including two 5th grade teams from Evanston that played during halftime.
