SAN ANTONIO – The top-seeded San Antonio Silver Stars will face fourth-seeded Sacramento in a best of three series beginning Thursday for the Western Conference Semi-finals of the 2008 WNBA playoffs, the league office announced tonight.

The two teams will meet in Sacramento Thursday, Sept. 18, at 6 p.m. Pacific on ESPN2, before returning to San Antonio for game two at 8 p.m. Central on Saturday, Sept. 20 on NBATV. If necessary, game three will be in San Antonio Monday, Sept. 22 at a time yet to be determined.

San Antonio finished the regular season with a franchise record 24 wins and the best record in the WNBA. The 24-10 finish guarantees the Silver Stars home court advantage throughout the 2008 playoffs.
