On the game - "I’m very proud of our second half. I’m proud of our heart and our character. This is a tough place to win against a great team and I’m really proud of our effort."

"I felt confidence in our defense and this win is huge for our confidence since we had not won a game on the road this year and especially since this is a place that is traditionally one of the hardest places to play in the league. This gives us a lot of momentum going back to the tough games we’ll have this week. This was a very very important and emotional win for us."

"I felt the difference in the second half rebounding wise was that we went into them to shoot because when you give that team another look at that basket, they will probably hit a three point shot when you’re talking about Kara Lawson and Ruthie Bolton."

"Sacramento did what they always do, they rebound extremely well. I felt that we did a good job of defending them but in the first half we just didn’t finish it out. I felt we stepped up defensively in the second half."

"Inspite of everything a stat sheet says, we found a way to win. We might not have done well but the score was 60-57, so I guess we did somethings right!"

On Dydek - "(Dydek) hit some big shots down the stretch when they really needed them. She took her time and knocked them down."

On the Silver Stars - "(San Antonio) played real scrappy and they played hard. They wanted the game more than we did down the stretch and made the plays they needed to get the job done."

"We’ve got to get our act together and we’ve got to come out with a lot more intensity and perform better offensively. There is no question that we have to do a much better job offensively than we have been doing."

"I was hoping that we’ve turned the corner, but I feel like we take one step forward and two steps back. I thought the Seattle game was our breakout game and we were ready to get it rolling and then we took a step backwards tonight."

"We just have to do more. We are a championship caliber team. We just have to find a way to win… We should have put the game away early, they came and made the shots down the stretch when it counted."

"They came out and wanted (the win) more than we wanted it. They were more aggressive towards the end of the game and they just fought hard down the stretch. ..We just didn’t do the things we needed to do."

"Every game in this league is very important. We can’t think they lost to Seattle by 40 (points). We knew they were going to come out and try to redeem themselves from that loss and that is what they did."
