On the turning point - "You have to understand the history of this team. We are a team that has a history of getting behind and we have to get ourselves out. I had every confidence that we could do it because of the past patterns that I’ve seen with our team. We told them to stick together and work their way through it.”
On Marie Ferdinand - “I think it was just a matter of her being more aggressive. In the first half she was getting her hands on the ball but she was choosing to pass. Marie is more of a slasher, pentrator type of player and we were trying to get her into situations where she can do that. In the second half we focused on allowing to give Marie more of a chance to penetrate and play her game.”

On today’s game - "I feel great about today’s game, it is our first two game winning streak in a long time."
On the turning point in today’s game - “Tausha Mills did a great job today, especially on the boards. She gave us key rebounds and free throws down the stretch which I think helped turn the game around. Her presence down low was also important for our team.”
On today’s approach to the game - “Ever since we got the new coaching staff, we’ve been focusing on the little things more, such as setting up screens and better execution of plays.”

On the game - "We played a team with spirit, and something to play for. They came to play and they took it to us. Thank God for Vanessa Nygaard who came out there and played herself into the rotation. That’s how I am going to start playing people, those who want to play and get on the floor for loose balls."
On team effort - "We didn’t want it as bad as they did. We think teams are going to roll over and give it to us just because we are at home. I am frustrated because I never thought I would see a Sparks team come out and not compete."

On being in shape - "I have been playing with some old men. The team has had four practices which has been good for me as far as getting into shape. I felt fresh and good after four days."
On joining the Sparks - "I am just trying to do little things to help the team. They are not familiar with what I do, we have plenty of people to score, but I am going to shoot if I am open.”
