In-state rival Houston heads to San Antonio Thursday, May 1, for a 7 p.m. tip at the AT&T Center. The Silver Stars then wrap up the pre-season with a Monday, May 12 exhibition against Detroit at the United Spirit Arena in Lubbock, Texas. Tip is 7 p.m.

San Antonio and Detroit’s Lubbock match is one of four games in non-WNBA markets. The Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky will travel to Wisconsin and play at the Al McGuire Center on May 3 while the WNBA will visit Tampa, Fla., for a game between the Sacramento Monarchs and Washington Mystics on May 5. The fourth non-market game involves the Minnesota Lynx and Los Angeles Sparks who will meet in the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center in Grand Forks, N.D., on May 11.
