Key Players to Watch

With the college basketball season well under way, the Silver Stars basketball operations staff has packed up their bags and hit the road to scout this year’s senior class. They will spend several months traveling across the country and countless hours watching games to try and find the best players that will best be able to help the Silver Stars succeed on and off the court.

While the Class of 2005 doesn’t haven’t the name recognition as the Class of 2004, there are still some great players that are sure to be make any team better. Last season the Silver Stars found a gem in Toccara Williams late in the draft, and this year San Antonio has a great opportunity of landing the No. 1 pick in next year’s draft. The Draft Lottery will be held on December 1, and San Antonio has the best chance to get the No. 1 pick based on their record from the 2004 season.

There is still a lot of basketball to be played in the next few months and there are plenty of players that you will want to keep a close eye on. Take a look.
