Thank you all for your support. In thirteen years as a professional athlete, I can say that Spurs Sports & Entertainment is the best organization I have been involved with. They understand the meaning of professionalism, integrity, and they have the vision for the future of the women’s game. It is with great honor that I finish my career in San Antonio. To have been a part of building something for the future of this community is a blessing.

From the second I arrived here to play, I was embraced. To play in front of 12,000 fans a game was a dream come true! You supported our team through the ups and downs. What we represent is far greater than wins and losses, and you showed that by unconditional support.

Clarissa and the rest of the Silver Stars staff are assembling an exciting team for next season. I hope you will continue to show your support for years to come. I see a championship team in the making!

Leaving the game as a player has been the most difficult decision of my life, but I am ready to move on. I will be around some this summer doing a Wellness Weekend and other health and wellness programs for kids.
