Becky Back Home and Blogging

Here are pictures of the shark I caught. I fought it for the first 30 minutes, then had to hand the fishing pole to my dad so I could get a 15 minute rest. Then I took the pole back to bring the shark in. In total it took me about 1 hour and 15 minutes or so. When the shark was close enough to the boat, I grabbed its tail like a true cowgirl… or a true idiot. Hahaha. Anyway, the shark was about 270 pounds and just over eight feet long. It was a bull shark, which is probably the most dangerous shark swimming in the ocean!
