Media members wishing to request season credentials should complete the online credential request form prior to May 10, 2013. Media members who are not issued season credentials must apply for gameday credentials via the online application (link) no later than 48 hours in advance of tip-off or by 5 p.m. on Thursdays for Saturday and Sunday games. All requests will be reviewed and media will be notified if they have been approved for credentials no later than 24 hours before tip-off. Parking passes will also be sent at that time upon request. Credentials must be worn and visible at all times and are non transferable.
Media parking is located in Lot 3 of the AT&T Center behind adjacent to the Southeast VIP Entrance. Parking passes are required on game days to access the Media Parking Lot and should be requested no later than 48 hours in advance along with game day credential requests. Media with a valid parking pass can access the Media Parking Lot through the Lot 3, Gate D entrance off AT&T Center Parkway. Lot 3 through the Gate C Entrance off East Houston Street.
Media Will Call
Media will call is located inside the Southeast VIP Entrance, adjacent to Lot 3. All media, even those possessing season credentials, are asked to sign-in at media will call. Media will call will open one hour and 45 minutes prior to tip time.
A media meal is provided for all Silver Stars home games beginning two hours prior to tip-off. The media meal will be available in the media hospitality area, which is located directly off the visiting team tunnel.
Media Work Room
The media work room is located adjacent to the media hospitality room off the home team tunnel.
Player and Staff Interviews
All interviews with Silver Stars players, coaches and staff must be coordinated through the public relations office.
Practice: Unless otherwise noted, all player and coach interviews will be conducted following practice at the Antioch Community Sports Complex. Generally, head coach and general manager Dan Hughes will be available first, followed by the players after they have completed their cool down.
Any interview requests that will require additional time with a player or coach should be made well in advance so that we can made appropriate arrangements.
Gamedays: Per WNBA policy, the Silver Stars and visitors’ locker rooms will be open to members of the media for 30 minutes up to 60 minutes before tip-off of a WNBA regular-season game (from 5:30-6 p.m. for a 7 p.m. game). Locker rooms are re-opened to the media after the game following a 10-minute cooling down period and will remain open for 30 minutes. Head coach and general manager Dan Hughes will conduct a short press conference in the coaches’ locker room following the cooling off period, at which time the team’s locker room will be opened to the media. (Please note that the Silver Stars locker room will not be opened prior to the start of Coach Hughes’ press conference).

Game Notes and Statistics
Game notes, rosters, etc. are available in the media work room two hours prior to game time. Statistics are distributed to the working media at the conclusion of each quarter as well as first half boxes and final boxes. Post-game quotes are distributed following the game and will be available on SASilverStars.com along with the game recap.
Practice: Photographers are allowed to shoot the final 30 minutes of each practice session. All photographers must remain off the court and should stay behind the sideline and baseline markings.
Gamedays: All photographers must wear the photo credential that was issued to them at media will call. Limited space is available for photographers along each baseline, with exact locations to be determined on game day. Photographers must stay in their designated areas, no photographer is allowed to shoot directly behind the basket and must leave the marked safety zone on each side of the basket clear. No one with a photo credential is allowed in the bench area at any time, including warm-ups.
Approximately the final 30 minutes of each practice session will be open to the media, with players and coaches available for brief interviews immediately following practice.
