MINNEAPOLIS(AP) - Seimone Augustus scored 20 points, Lindsey Harding added a season-high 13 and the Minnesota Lynx beat the San Antonio Silver Stars 78-68 on Friday night.

Playing without injured star rookie Candice Wiggins, the Lynx (13-12) got their usual production from Augustus, who will join the U.S. Olympic team when the WNBA takes its one-month hiatus for the Beijing Games.

But it was Harding, making her second start of the season, who filled the gap left by Wiggins, who averages 16.4 points.

Harding went 4-for-6 from the floor and was a perfect 4-for-4 from the line to help the Lynx win back-to-back games after an overtime victory at Indianapolis on Thursday night. She set her previous season-high, 12 points, against the Fever.

Anna DeForge added 12 points for the Lynx, who sent the Silver Stars (17-9) to their second-straight defeat.

Sophia Young led San Antonio with 21 points while Becky Hammon and Ann Wauters had 18 and 15 points, respectively.

The teams traded the lead throughout much of the first three quarters before DeForge hit a 3-pointer with 3:12 left in the third quarter to give Minnesota a 53-49 lead. The Lynx followed with a 20-10 run and never trailed again.

Wiggins bruised her lower back when she fell in Thursday's game against Indiana. Later that night in overtime, fellow rookie Charde Houston bruised her left knee in a collision with Tan White.

With Wiggins and Houston out and Augustus off to a slow start, rookie Nicky Anosike provided an early spark with five steals in the first half. Harding also hit some timely jumpers to help Minnesota overcome an early deficit.
