SAN ANTONIO, TX – The San Antonio Silver Stars will host a golf scramble at Canyon Springs Golf Club Wednesday, Aug. 20, with proceeds benefiting multiple San Antonio breast health charities.

Each golfer will receive a box lunch from Canyon Springs Golf Club, dinner from Martha’s Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, a complimentary golf shirt, a goodie bag, two raffle entries and a 15 percent golf shop discount. There also will be prizes awarded for best team and individual scores, tee shot closes to the pin and longest drive. Cost for a foursome is $600. Check-in and lunch are at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start slated for 1:30 p.m.

Silver Stars players and coaches will join golfers during the tournament to mix, mingle, sign autographs and take pictures. Proceeds will directly benefit and support the following non-profit breast health groups: American Cancer Society, Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation; Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Women Involved in Nurturing, Giving, Sharing, Inc., Support Lending for Emotional Well-Being and the Cancer Therapy and Research Center.
