Players to have Etiquette Dinner with Boys and Girls Club
Silver Stars Mind Their Manners

SAN ANTONIO – Children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio will be minding their p’s and q’s at an etiquette dinner with Silver Stars Ruth Riley and Camille Little courtesy of Morton’s The Steakhouse, 849 E. Commerce St., at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, July 26.

Posture, table manners, napkin use, bread etiquette, which utensils to use and more will be taught to the 10 children by Margaret Houston, etiquette teacher from the Texas School of Protocol. Knowing proper table etiquette will allow these children the self-confidence and comfort level to dine anywhere and with anyone.

Morton’s will serve the children and players a three-course meal of Caesar salad, single-cut Filet Mignon with a baked potato and sautéed garlic green beans, followed by chocolate velvet cake for dessert.

The Silver Stars, through the WNBA Cares Initiative, embrace their responsibility as powerful role models delivering important messages and programs in the areas of health, fitness, self-esteem and good decision-making skills. WNBA Cares strives to support youth and family development, as well as focus on education.
