Shock Re-Signs Jennifer Lacy
The Tulsa Shock have re-signed forward Jennifer Lacy to a multi-year deal, Tulsa Shock President Steve Swetoha announced today. Lacy has been with the Shock for each of the past two seasons.
“Re-signing Jennifer Lacy was a huge priority for us this off-season,” President Steve Swetoha said. “She’s a leader and a professional on and off the court and we are extremely excited to have her back in a Shock uniform.”
Lacy was one of two Shock players (Tiffany Jackson was the other) to appear in all 34 games for the Shock in 2011 and started 18 of them. Lacy averaged 6.3 points, 2.6 rebounds in 19.2 minutes a game.
“I am really excited about coming back to Tulsa,” Lacy said. “Despite our record it has been a great place to play with the best fans in the WNBA. Their loyalty is unparalleled and I look forward to playing for them again this season.”
