The Girl Scouts and Boys Scouts of America are some of our country’s most patriotic young people, and there’s no better way to let them show it than by carrying the Stars & Stripes onto the Detroit Shock court for the national anthem.

Scout leaders can reward their scouts for a great year by making them the center of attention prior to a professional basketball game. Six Color Guard participants will present The Palace fans with America’s flag and the flag of your very own troop, in addition to exclusive backstage access. While your the Color Guard members prepare to walk out America’s colors, Shock players like Elaine Powell and Cheryl Ford might run right by them from the very same tunnel.

The Color Guard Fan Experience is great for troop leaders who want to give their scouts the chance to be seen in front of thousands of fans at The Palace, one of the country’s most popular venues. Scouts of all ages, from elementary to high school, have served as flag bearers over the past four years.

There is only one Color Guard spot available for each of the Detroit Shock’s 17 home games this season, so reserve your troop’s game today. As a participating group in the Detroit Shock game experience, your troop would be eligible for discounted tickets.

To be a part of the Detroit Shock Color Guard, contact The Palace at (248) 377-0100.
