How to Enter: Automatic entry for the contest will result by utilizing the non-purchase option on detroitshock.com. Contest begins May 15, 2005 and ends October 31, 2005. One entry/winner per household (for the entire 2005 season). There will be two (2) Victory Kids per game. For each game/drawing, entries must be received five business days prior to a given game. Indemnification: Entries must be received no later than August 22, 2005 (or five business days prior to the last Shock home game). All entries become the property of Victory Home Loans/Detroit Shock and will not be acknowledged. Incomplete entries are void. By entering, entrant agrees to follow the Official Rules and hold harmless and indemnify the Detroit Shock, Women's National Basketball Association and its Teams and operators, WNBA Enterprises, LLC, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either (i) entrant’s participation; or (ii) the receipt or use of the prizes awarded in the promotion. False or deceptive entries or acts will render the entrant ineligible.
Prizes: Prior to each home game, “Victory Kids” will be stationed at the floor-level - welcoming, greeting, and cheering members of the Detroit Shock. For being a “Victory Kid”, Victory Home Loans will provide four (4) tickets to the game, two (2) parking passes, and a goodie bag (each prize package is valued at approximately $150). Exact dates and/or ticket location to be determined. Winners must be U.S. residents 18 years of age or older, have a child between the ages of 6-12, and live within a 75-mile radius of The Palace of Auburn Hills. Prizes are nontransferable and not redeemable for cash except at the Shock option for a prize of comparable or greater value. Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any expenses associated with the game, unless otherwise indicated.
Winners: Victory Home Loans will contact the winners to make accommodations. The winners will be selected in a random drawing (date of entry will determine game date assignment) from all eligible entries and the winners will be notified via phone or mail (per the info disclosed). Except where prohibited, in consideration for being awarded the prize, winner hereby agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of winner’s name and likeness in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by the Detroit Shock, Women's National Basketball Association and its Teams and operators, WNBA Enterprises, LLC, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents. In the event that the winner(s) cannot be contacted or declines the prize, another winner(s) will be randomly selected from eligible entries.
