Tulsa Shock Partners with Hertz to Help Fans Go Green on July 11
In addition, the Shock is partnering with The Metropolitan Environmental Trust (M.e.t.) to educate fans on easy ways they can go green to help save costs and minimize waste at home.
“Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty are excited about this new partnership with the Shock and the opportunity to support an organization dedicated to promoting sustainability within the Tulsa community,” said Hertz Vice President, Don Serup. “We feel this is a natural fit for Hertz as each of our brands is committed to actively engaging our customers in environmental best practices that are easy and convenient.”
More than 75 percent of the Hertz general car rental fleet averages better than 28+ MPG, providing customers with significant fuel savings and an easy way to reduce their environmental footprint when traveling. Additionally, the Hertz Green Traveler Collection gives customers access to alternative fuel vehicles such as hybrids, electric vehicles, CNG (compressed natural gas) and clean diesel cars.
The Green Night game on July 11 will be broadcasted on ESPN2.
