Shockwave Auditions

Shockwave auditions will be held at The Palace of Auburn Hills on Monday, April 20 at 3:30 p.m.

WHEN:

Monday, April 20th – Registration begins promptly at 3:30 p.m. (Audition backup date Tuesday, April 21st at 3:30 p.m.)

All phases of the audition process will happen on this night and this night only.

Finalists: Parents must be present during the final round of auditions for candidates under the age of 18.

A $20.00 audition fee is required to register.

Please have an entertainment/business resume and recent photo. (Photos will not be returned.)

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

10 and older (must be 10 by May 2009)

Female AND Male candidates welcome

Proof of ID required, i.e. birth certificate, drivers license, state id, etc.

PRE-REGISTRATION PROCESS:

Please pre-regiser by contacting Rebecca Girard via email rgirard@palacenet.com and leave your name, address, age, and phone number.

AUDITION LOCATION/DIRECTIONS:

The Palace of Auburn Hills – Arena

Enter through West Atrium

AUDITION PROCESS:

All Choreography provided by audition staff. Auditions are an elimination process.

1st Cuts - Perform a short dance combination in large groups.

2nd Cuts - Perform hip hop/pom dance routine in groups.

Final Cuts - Perform dance routine in groups.

Finalists will be required to perform a special talent!

Finalists will be contacted via phone within two business days after the auditions.

ATTIRE:

Workout and/or dance attire is required, no baggy or other clothing allowed.

Neat and clean audition appearance. Full makeup and styled hair preferred.

DRESS TO IMPRESS: Sports bras (no body suits), shorts, tights and shoes required.

FINALIST INFORMATION:

Finalists will be required to do a Special Talent and attend a meeting WITH their parents at the end of the audition process.
