The Tulsa Shock have signed free agent Amber Dvorak to a training camp contract.
Dvorak, a center from Drury University, averaged 16.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, and shot 57.4 percent from the field during the 2014 season. The 6-7 Hinckley, Minn. native was named to the All-Daktronics Midwest Region First Team and the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference First Team in 2014.
Amber is a talented player, said Fred Williams, Head Coach of the Tulsa Shock. Shes a terrific presence in the post and can score. I look forward to seeing her in training camp and competing for a roster spot.
Tulsas home opener is Friday, May 23 vs. Minnesota Lynx at 7:00 p.m. at the BOK Center. For season tickets and more information call 918-949-9700.
