…. Salty Senorita. (As in “margarita.”) We stopped because the colorful lighting caught our eye; we stayed because of the canopy of mist sprayed over the outdoor patio. Because even at 11 p.m. it feels like you’re sticking your face in front of a car exhaust pipe, the remedy for many eateries with outdoor seating, and even the business park near the Ritz that gets a lot of foot traffic, is a gentle spray from above. It’s a very effective method of cooling off – like the fans for NFL players on the sidelines – and you don’t worry about getting a little damp because you’re dry by the time you reach your car. And it's harder for anyone to notice if you spill on yourself. |
My flight for Detroit left at 6 a.m., and the souvenir shop wasn’t open yet. I was denied the keepsake of this trip I had anticipated – much like the Shock, who probably through they’d be bringing back a trophy to remember this trip by. Though this has to be a little discouraging for the Shock, going home might be just the change they need after Game 4 so they can get a fresh start at home in Game 5.
