Ivory Latta and Elizur Holon (5-7) dropped a 91-84 decision to Bnei Yehuda (4-8) and now lead Bnei Yehuda by one game in the race for the playoffs. Latta’s 34 points and six assists paced Elizur Holon in the loss. She upped her scoring average on the year in the Israeli League to 23.1 points, and is now connecting on 41 percent of her three pointers. Elizur Holon next faces off against Raanana Hertzliya (10-2) on Monday, January 28.

Ayana Walker and Maccabi Ashdod lost an overtime heartbreaker to Maccabi Ramat Hen (8-5), 103-101, but still remain in fifth place in the Israeli League at 6-7. Walker scored 23 points and grabbed five rebounds in the loss. She is now averaging 22.0 points and 12.4 rebounds on the year while connecting on 56.7 percent of her field goal attempts. Maccabi Ashdod next plays Elizur Ramla (10-2) on January 28.
