Tyresa Smith grabbed two boards and dished out one assist in 11 minutes to help her Russian league squad, Dynamo-Energiya (Novosibirsk), roll past Vologda-Ñhevakata (Vologda) with a 70-65 victory on December 21. Dynamo-Energiya (Novosibirsk) (6-4) will take a couple weeks off for the holidays and return to the court on January 4th when they take on the undefeated CSKA.

Plenette Pierson’s BC Moscow Russian league team fell to the undefeated CSKA 85-73 on December 22. Pierson out up 19 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 35 minutes. BC Moscow takes to the court next on January 5th.
