Russian League
Plenette Pierson’s 15 points and eight rebounds helped BC Moscow improve its Russian League record to 7-2 with a 64-59 win over Dynamo Kursk (5-4). The win solidifies BC Moscow’s hold on fourth place and moves them one half game behind Deanna Nolan’s UMMC Ekaterinburg squad for third.

Pierson is averaging 15.8 points and 7.6 rebounds in eight Russian League games. BC Moscow will try to spoil CSKA’s (7-0) undefeated season on Saturday, December 22.
