Ivory Latta scored 21 points and grabbed five rebounds in her first action since injuring her ankle, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Electra Ramat Hasharon who outpaced Elizur Holon 115-86. Defense was optional as Electra Ramat Hasharon (7-1) connected on 49 of 75 (65.3%) shots from the field nailing 75.4 percent of their shots from two-point range.
Walker is leading the Israeli League in both scoring and rebounding averaging 22.9 points and 12.7 rebounds per game while Latta ranks fifth in scoring (20.9 ppg) and third in assists (4.5 apg).
The Israeli League takes a month-long break until January 7 when Maccabi Ashdod takes on front-running Raanana Hertzliya (9-1). Elizur Holon’s (4-6) first game after the break is January 14 vs. Hapoel Tel Aviv (1-8).
