Cash and Mahorn help kick-off Parade Week
The Fifth Annual Parade VIP Pancake Breakfast
On Monday, November 22, Swin Cash of the Detroit Shock and Pistons Broadcaster Rick Mahorn participated as Celebrity Flapjack Flippers at The Fifth Annual Parade VIP Pancake Breakfast. The event was a kick-off to Parade Week 2004 which culminates every year in Detroit on Thanksgiving morning.
Joining Cash and Mahorn were a line-up of Detroit’s community and corporate leaders, such as Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and Detroit Lions great Robert Porcher. Paul W. Smith from WJR 760 AM broadcasted live along with WDIV – Local 4. Kilpatrick spent a considerable amount of time discussing issues with Cash and Mahorn.
