The Washington Mystics made Mills the second overall pick in the 2000 WNBA Draft. She played in 61 games for Washington during her first two seasons in our nation’s capital averaging 4.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in her rookie campaign and averaging 3.5 boards during her sophomore season. A knee injury limited “Baby Shaq” to just five games during her third year in the league.
Mills signed with the San Antonio Silver Stars prior to the 2003 WNBA season where she averaged 2.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 29 games with the team. She has not played in the WNBA since the 2003 season, but has continued to play overseas most recently in Poland.
