How to Enter: Contest begins on June 23, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. and ends August 21, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. (“Promotional Period”). There are only three (3) ways to enter.
Entries: (1) Entrants who are 13 years of age or older as of June 23, 2005 may complete an on-line entry form at DetroitShock.com to be automatically entered to be selected. Entries mechanically reproduced or made in any fashion of the contest are void. (2) All entrants, including entrants who are under 13 years of age as of June 17, 2005, can download a PDF file of an entry form and mail the completed entry form to Detroit Shock iPod Shuffle Giveaway, 4 Championship Drive, Auburn Hills, MI 48326 ATTN: Alicia Jeffreys. (3) All patrons in attendance at one of seven (7) Shock home games can complete an entry form in arena. One entry per person/email address/household.
Indemnification: Entries must be received no later than August 21, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. All entries become the property of the Detroit Shock and will not be acknowledged or returned. Incomplete entries are void. By entering, all entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the judge's decisions. By entering, entrant agrees to follow the Official Rules and hold harmless and indemnify the Detroit Shock, Women's National Basketball Association and its Teams and operators, WNBA Enterprises, LLC, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either (i) entrant’s participation; or (ii) the receipt or use of the prizes awarded in the promotion. False or deceptive entries or acts will render the entrant ineligible.
Prize: Fourteen (14) total winners will be selected.
Winner: One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible online and mailed entries received three (3) business days prior to the Shock games listed above. One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible mailed and in-arena entries during the Shock games listed above. Except where prohibited, in consideration for being awarded the prize, winner hereby agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of winner’s name and likeness in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by the Detroit Shock, Women's National Basketball Association and its Teams and operators, WNBA Enterprises, LLC, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted or declines the prize, another winner will be randomly selected from eligible entries. Eligibility: The contest is open only to residents of the state of Michigan within a 75 mile radius of the Palace of Auburn Hills. Online entrants must be 13 years of age or older as of June 23, 2005. Employees and immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of the Detroit Shock, Women's National Basketball Association and its Teams and operators, WNBA Enterprises, LLC, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents are not eligible. Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judging organization regarding all aspects of the contest, whose decisions shall be final.
